Our Story

It started with a window.

We chose Prisma — and somehow, he chose us right back.

It was the day we went to a shelter so my daughter Pramila could pick a cat as a gift for her communion. She chose Milka, a little orange kitten. But there was another one — also orange, also small — who kept coming back to us. Sitting close. Watching. Quietly making himself part of the family before we even realized it. We took them both home.

Milka didn't stay long. Some cats come into your life just long enough to leave a mark. But the space he left didn't stay empty. Prisma filled it, slowly and completely, in the way only he knew how.

And just like that, our lives had a new rhythm — one that moved at the pace of a curious, stubborn, endlessly fascinating cat.

A cat with his own agenda.

Prisma grew up with personality. Playful, curious, stubborn in the best way. We live on the ground floor, and from the very beginning, Prisma had one obsession: the window.

He would sit there for hours. Watching. Waiting. Not anxious — just interested. Like the world outside was a question he hadn't answered yet.

For a long time, I kept the window closed. I wasn't sure he was ready. I wasn't sure I was ready.

But one day, I opened it.

The window was just the beginning.

Prisma stepped out slowly. Sniffed the air. Looked back at me once. And then he started exploring — at his own pace, on his own terms, always knowing the way back home.

He didn't need to be pushed. He just needed the door to be open.

That moment stayed with me. Because I realized: that's what every indoor cat deserves. Not to be kept inside out of fear. Not to be thrown into the world unprepared. But to be given the tools, the safety, and the confidence to explore — calmly, at their pace.

That's why GAT exists.

Beyond the Window.

GAT Original was born from Prisma's curiosity and a simple belief: indoor cats can experience the world safely, without stress, without fear.

Every carrier, every harness, every travel bag we design starts from the same question — would Prisma feel safe in this?

We're not a big brand. We're not a factory. We're a small team that genuinely believes cats deserve more than four walls — and that the humans who love them deserve gear they can trust.

Where we're going.

GAT started with one cat and one open window. But the vision is bigger.

One day — when the brand is strong enough, when the community is real enough — we want to build something beyond products: a network of shelters for abused and abandoned cats. A place where cats that never had a window get one.

We're not there yet. But every purchase brings us a little closer.

That's the kind of brand we want to be.
